NOTES: A well-hidden narrow entrance between two high cliffs leading to an excellent bay. It was "discovered" by Alan and Dolores Reed. Watch for three arms. West arm is recommended. Good fossil hunting on shoreline when lake level is low. EWxcellant hiking. Many boats have hit the rock at 1:00 coming in. Keep tight to the right (west) bank. Lake from Beechy Coulee to Blockbuster Bay has frequent storms.
The south shore line between Red Ochre and Sulivan Bay is dangerous due to reefs and sholes. Always approach a target bay perpendicular as apposed to running close to shore.Taggart Bay and Munro Bay are good bays in which to ride out storms.
